How you can make a difference in protecting Osoyoos Lake.



The Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society (OLWQS) was one of several local organizations that volunteered their time to raise aware about local organizations looking for new members to make a positive difference in the community in which they live.

(l-r)  OLWQS Board member David Smith and OLWQS President, Birgit Arnstein demonstrate one of the measurement tools used by the society to measure the water quality in Osoyoos Lake.  The society uses its pontoon barge to  take water samples in five locations around the lake during the summer months.
